Social Skills Group, Tampa Bay

Citrus Park Mall

We will host a social skills group to focus on friendships with other neurodiverse and typical students from grades 4-7. Additionally, we will work on money skills, ordering skills, and manners. The event will take place at the Citrus Park Mall on Thursday, June 23rd from 2-5. Students will meet in a centralized location, make use of the library space for sharing social stories and holding conversations, and order a snack from the food court to practice money skills, ordering, and independent skills.

This group will be limited to six participants. Caregivers may remain with their child for no fee, or they may drop off their child if the child is able to communicate bathroom needs and there is no fear of elopement. This group is best for verbal or nonverbal students who are currently in a general education setting or resource setting on the general diploma option. If you have further questions, please contact us through the Contact Form prior to signing up so we can discuss.
